UPDATE - ARMOROC is now UL Classified! 

Ameriform is proud to announce that Armoroc is formally UL Classified for Surface Burning Characteristics (per UL 723 / ASTM E84), producing 0 Flame-spread, 0 Smoke Development indices (Class A). UL visited our factory, performed an inspection, and selected random samples for testing.  Armoroc boards will be stamped with the UL logo, and the factory will be visited quarterly as part of the UL Follow-Up service. 

NEW APPROVALS - Armoroc & JoistRite Fire-Rated Floor Assemblies are MEA Approved! 

Armoroc's 1 & 2-hour fire-rated floor assemblies are now MEA approved for use in New York City (MEA 206-08-M)

  • Single layer of 3/4" Armoroc by Ameriform

  • JoistRite framing by Marino\WARE

  • Mineral-wool insulation

  • Single layer of 5/8" Type C gypsum board

  • Same system for both 1 & 2-hour assemblies

Using only one-layer of gypsum board for a 2-hour assembly translates into savings on money, time, materials & labor - and is a more environmentally friendly design.

New Ameriform Distribution Center in SOUTH CAROLINA!

Ameriform is proud to announce our new distribution center in South Carolina, strategically located to service growing markets in the Mid-Atlantic and South Eastern regions of the United States.

 

This new facility offers 500,000sf of storage, 50 loading docks, 20 rail doors & state-of-the-art equipment.  Operational improvements include reduced lead times, supply-chain optimization, reduction in fuel consumption, and  lower shipping/handling costs.  These improvements cater to the environmental and economic initiatives of Ameriform and our customers.
